The Budget Bathrooms Process

Your Guide to the Next Steps in Your Bathroom Renovation Journey

Initial
Contact

After our initial phone or email conversation, with the relevant information provided by you, we should be able to offer a ballpark figure for you to work with. If this works with your budget, and you wish to progress with us, we will arrange a site consultation.

Site
Consultation

This is a complimentary consultation, where we’ll meet with you at your site to confirm your bathroom renovation options as previously discussed. This meeting is brief, but will allow us to better understand the working space and confirm we are on the same page for the project. Following our discussion, we will provide you with a preliminary estimate, offering an initial overview of the expected costs. Please note that this estimate is subject to change based on further choices and any changes or adjustments to the project scope.

Preliminary Building
Agreement (PBA)

This agreement authorises Budget Bathrooms to begin the necessary preparation work, including developing a sketch plan to be approved by yourself, and having your personal choice items, such as plumbing fixtures and fittings, tiles etc., chosen and quoted by the relevant suppliers. In doing so, we ensure that you have a clear and accurate representation of the true cost to complete your bathroom renovation. The Preliminary Building Agreement (PBA) must be accepted and paid for ($149) before we can provide you with a formal quote and confirmed design. The fee also ensures your place in our schedule and allows us to get started on bringing your vision to life.

HIA
Contract

Once the quote has been accepted, Budget Bathrooms requires the signing of the formal HIA contract. This contract ensures that Budget Bathrooms and the homeowners mutually agree on the scope of work outlined. It will also include details on progress payments, the construction schedule, and any legal obligations for both parties, for example; proof of capacity to pay or finance documents. This stage will require an initial 5% deposit which will secure an agreed start date between both parties.

Begin
The Build

Once your deposit is confirmed, you'll meet with your project supervisor to begin your bathroom renovation. Budget Bathrooms will follow a thorough Quality Control Checklist throughout the build to ensure all work meets standards and stays on track. As per the HIA agreement, progress payments will be required. Upon completion, your new bathroom will be ready for handover.
